China Ko in Humble

This the best tasting steakhouse in Humble. The steaks are phenomenal, cooked perfectly from medium-rare to medium-well. The salad bar is second to none, it is truly fantastic. The fresh baked french rolls, always warm and always available from the salad bar which also includes several hot soups. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I am very pleased with KO steakhouse! My husband and I went for the first time last weekend and ordered take out. The food was great and so was the service. I especially thank Henry for coming to introduce himself even though we were only doing take out. We returned today with my daughter and in-laws who also couldn’t be more happy with the food and service. Ashley was our waitress and she was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

16oz Ribeye was cooked perfect, great taste. Salad and soup bar was also great. Manager Henry and staff were very nice. This place is very clean and had good music playing.

We tried this place for the first time and we were not disappointed! The steak was delicious. The soup & salad bar was fresh and has plenty of options. The place is huge so Waiting for a table should not be necessary. The staff were all very courteous. Thank you Henry for welcoming us. We’ll see you again soon! M&M

For anyone looking for a great low carb, low sugar, and or keto friendly meal than look no further. But in case you aren't, than dont worry you can get all the carbs you still crave right here. Great steak, I had the 12 oz Ribeye. The steak was tender and succulent, just as it should be. I prefer my steaks medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly. Great veggies. The green beans were fantastic and the broccoli was perfectly cooked with just the slightest crisp still to them. I wish I had taken a photo before I ate it all.

Extremely good value. I got the 16oz ribeye with 2 sides and unlimited salad and soup bar for $24. Can't beat that anywhere. The steak was not the best cut of meat, but I didn't expect prime beef for that price.

My friend & I dined at Ko Steakhouse tonight.This is at least my 15th visit to this great place to have lunch or dinnerlThe service,food & the ambiance was exemplary as always!This is at least my 15th time to eat lunch or dinner there.At 9:00 pm, my phone rang, it was Henry, the owner of the restaurant calling me to inform me that I left my purse in the chair at the table where my friend & I were eating dinner.I rushed to retrieve my purse & Henry met me at the entrance of China Ko.He was beyond gracious!My purse had my original contents in it to include more than $ 200.00 dollars cash, numerous credit cards,TDL,CHL, two check books from two different banks & a savings account book.This could have been a nightmare beyond belief......I credit the honest customer who turned in my purse as well as the incredible owner, Henry for calling me to claim my purse!!!!Please, please, please give this family owned business a try! You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Wow! I can't believe a restaurant this good has been right under my nose this whole time! We finally got around to trying KO Steak house tonight and it blew our minds! The Rib-eye, the Parmesan Chicken, and the Monterrey Chicken were all perfect. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, and the salad dressings were full-strength (not watered down like at some places around here). The service was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. If you haven't tried KO yet, I strongly recommend it! It is a beautiful, clean, well-run restaurant just begging to be discovered. It may become your new favorite eatery. 1960 and Timber Forest Dr. Delicious!

First time here and it is AMAZING! We got the ribeye with green beans mashed potatoes, salad bar, and soup. Everything came out PERFECTLY cooked! The baked potato soup was to die for. The atmosphere is calm and the restaurant is all around beautiful! Will definitely be back!!!

Their steaks here or off the chart for the price you pay you're not going to find a better steak in this town!!!great service!!!

This place is a hidden gem! I've gone to high-end steak houses and payed 3 times a much for a steak just as good! This is now one of my favorite places to eat. The food was not only delicious, awesome presentation as well. The staff is great here and the fish pond was cool for the kiddos. I love this place.

Horrible service! They had 3 HUGE parties and only 3 waiters, took over 1hr 1/2 for food to arrive. Refills were far and few between. Food was decent. The only perk was the portion sizes were enough to feed 2 people on 1 plate. Cant blame the waitress I blame management for only having 3 people on staff.

Awesome! The prices are very fair and the food is delicious. Service was on a grand scale. All the soup and salad you want with the entree. Highly recommended .

Overall it was pretty good, others of our party had good things to say. I had the 12 ounce rib eye. I ordered it medium rare. It came out medium at best which made it tougher and dry.

This is not your buffet style Chinese restaurant. This is an upper scale fine dining experience. The wait staff was very attentive. The owner himself checked on us. The building is spectacular inside. Nicer than any cruise ship dining room. The parmigiana crusted chicken and Monterey chicken are fabulous. Priced at only $14 each. Fresh crunchy green beans home made Mac n cheese. A complete salad bar with multiple soups free with every entree.Only negative is the pepsi over coke but that is just a preference issue. My server Joe, gets a special compliment due to his outstanding service. I rarely leave positive waiter reviews but he deserves it. Great Job Joe!!!! I appreciate your attentiveness and knowledge of the menu.

Took my son there today for his Birthday, the food was really delicious. The service was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. And the place was the cleanest I’ve ever eaten in before. Will certainly return there again. We had the ribeye steak and bake potato.The salad bar was so fresh and good as well!

Pretty good best thing they have is a rib plate enough for two people and all the fixings and salad bar with all meals

China KO, the huge building, formerly home to a vast buffet behind Shipley Donuts on FM 1960 and Timber Forest Drive has converting to Steak and Comfort Food.Some time and attention is needed to convert the look of the restaurant into a steak house. You're basically sitting in a huge banquet hall surrounded by unused Buffett tables and Chinese restaurant decorations... But hey, they played country music. Nice staff,very clean,fast. The salad bar is great. The meal I got this last visit was not as good as previous. It was overcooked,otherwise meal was good.

The food was AMAZING! The server we had on the other hand was rough. Almost like his first night but he said he had been serving awhile. But the serving size you get for the price you can't beat it. The teriyaki steak mmmmmmm I will highly recommend this! And the fountain with fish is cool.

Food was not good at all. Soup was old and had film over the top as to look like it had been sitting there all day. The main courses were all overcooked and burnt, while they also tasted like they had been dropped in a salt vat. The salad bar was old and most the options were empty or had not much in them. The only thing decent during our meal were the fries. They were hot and crispy.

Celebrated my sons bday dinner here. Great place to eat and the staff was very friendly.

I have been here twice so far. Both times the quality of the steak has been excellent. Their service has been as good as or better than the higher priced competition. The soup and salad bar are good but nothing special, but everything else is top notch. A real gem.

The food is fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. We always receive excellent service. It's a great value for the money, and we love going!

We loved It! Great steaks that are cooked perfectly! Portion sizes are beyond big and that doesnt included the soup and salad bar!. I've never been so excited for leftovers. Ask for Tanner! He was awesome!

Customer service was fantastic. The owner was very nice and friendly. Food was really good and had good portion sizes.

The food was great, I had a steak and my partner had a chicken dish. Both were huge portions and had good side dishes. The salad bar was very well stocked and had some excellent soups and that I got seconds of. The service was top notch, and I presume the owner or manager was very attentive of the patrons. The building was massive and didn't match the look of a steakhouse ( it's obviously a former Chinese food restaurant) but don't let that deter you from coming in and getting a great steak.

Alright food, some problems could have bee. Better. For number of people here at the time less than 10 it could have been a bit quicker to get the food.

Hidden from the crowd. it's an amazing place to stop by and enjoy a good food with family and friends. Huge portions and good prices.

Love the food, so fresh. Soup & Salad bar, prices are great. A bit under staffed at times but I still give it 5 stars for the food. People you must check this out for yourselves. I drive 84 miles round trip to eat there. It's a wonderful restaurant. You snooze you loose.

It’s a shame how slow it was while I was there, food is amazing and prices are great. The lunch specials are incredibly priced and everything tastes great

When I want a steak, I come here! My steak has always been prepared the way I wanted. There's none of the overpriced items on the menu you'll find at most steakhouses. The salad bar is excellent, everything is freshly prepared as well as several kinds of soups.The service is excellent, and attended to by the owner, Henry.

We had ribeye steaks with baked potato. The meal also comes with a salad bar and soup. Absolutely the best steak we've had in a long time from a restaurant. Couldn't eat it all, take home a necessity.
